Changing Your Password

To change your Site Manager password, open the account menu in the top-right corner of the header area and select Change Password.

Enter your new password and confirm it in the provided fields, then click Save Changes.

Password Guidelines

The Site Manager will attempt to prevent extremely weak passwords, but it cannot guarantee that a password is secure. Please choose your password carefully.

Avoid Using

  • Words found in a dictionary (in any language)
  • Names such as family members, pets, fictional characters, or famous people
  • Your own name, username, or variations of your account name
  • Personal information such as phone numbers, license plates, or Social Security numbers
  • Birthdays or predictable patterns (for example adding a number to the beginning or end of a word)

Recommended Practices

  • Use a mixture of uppercase and lowercase letters
  • Include numbers and punctuation
  • Create a password that is unrelated to any previous password
  • Use longer passwords whenever possible

One effective method is to use a passphrase, which is a sequence of words that is easy for you to remember but difficult for others to guess. For example:

  • A pair of words with punctuation between them
  • A short phrase made from several unrelated words
  • The first letter of each word in a longer phrase

Longer passwords are generally more secure than short, complex ones.
