Adding Links

Adding Links to Your Website

You can add links to other websites in two ways:

  1. Manually within your page content
  2. Using the built-in Links component

Method 1: Adding Links Manually

To add a link within a text section:

  1. Edit a page under Media → Pages
  2. Edit a Basic - Paragraph (or similar) section
  3. Type the text you want to link (for example, "Google")
  4. Highlight the text
  5. Click the link icon (chain link) in the editor toolbar
  6. Enter the full URL (for example, https://google.com)
  7. Click Save Changes

Method 2: Using the Links Component

The Site Manager includes a built-in system for organizing and displaying groups of links.

You can create categories of links and display them on your website using the following section types:

  • Components - Links (All): Displays all links
  • Components - Links (Categories): Displays selected categories of links

This method is useful for organizing large numbers of links, such as resources, directories, or related websites.

Tips

  • Use manual links for simple, one-time links within content
  • Use the Links component for grouped or reusable links
  • Always include the full URL (starting with https://)
