Restore Points allow you to safely revert a page to a previous version of its content and layout. This provides a built-in safety system when editing your website.
How Restore Points Work
When you edit a page, Site Manager automatically creates a restore point before changes are made.
- Automatic snapshots: A restore point is created before editing content
- Restore history: Each page keeps a list of previous versions
- Before-edit labels: Restore points are labeled based on what was being edited
This allows you to return your page to an earlier state at any time.
Accessing Restore Points
- Go to Media → Pages
- Edit the desired page
- Open the Restore Points panel
You will see a list of available restore points along with timestamps and descriptions.
Restoring a Page
- Select the restore point you want to use
- Click Restore
The page will be reverted to that version, including its content and layout.
Important: Restoring a page replaces the current content with the selected version.
Safety feature: Before restoring, Site Manager automatically creates a backup of the current page, allowing the restore to be undone if needed.
