Publishing Sections

Publishing controls allow you to control when individual sections appear on your page. This is useful when preparing content in advance, scheduling announcements, or hiding content temporarily.

How to Access Section Publishing

  • Navigate to Media → Pages
  • Click Edit on your page
  • Locate the section you want to control
  • Click the Settings (gear icon) for that section
  • Open the Publishing tab

Publishing Options

  • Status: Set the section to Published (visible) or Draft (hidden)
  • Publish Start: Set a future date and time for the section to appear
  • Publish End: Set a date and time for the section to automatically stop displaying
  • Season: Display sections automatically during specific church seasons

Understanding Status Labels

  • Visible: The section is currently showing on your website
  • Draft: The section is not published
  • Scheduled: The section will appear in the future
  • Expired: The section is no longer visible

Hover over the status label to see exactly why a section is visible or not visible. Click the status label to jump directly to the Publishing settings.

On-Page Editing Features

  • Live status badges: Each section displays its current status while editing
  • All / Live toggle: Switch between viewing all sections or only those currently visible on your website
  • Quick access: Click any status badge to open Publishing settings
